Rich Miller not only has one great looking car, he has two! This 4 door sedan he got out of Mexico and the coupe show below. Read Rick's e-mail at the bottom.

Here is what Rich wrote:
I am attaching a recent
picture of my newly acquired '46 FORDOR. It has quite a history having
lived in Mexico City for 35 years or more(?) by original lady owner. It
was an export car built in Texas and must have made for a very exciting
Christmas since it was manufactured (verified by dates found on instrumentation
under dash) in November 1946. It has its last Mexico City front license
plate and last "Registrado" sticker still on the rear window (not a
"Tourista" sticker, thank you). The car's speedometer goes from
0-160 (kmh) ha, ha got 'cha! The car was very well cared for as
evidenced by my several under chassis inspections. It is a nice driver.
I have completed most of the major restoration and will continue to upgrade it
with a Columbia two speed overdrive rear axle and some improvements to the drive
train. Amazingly, it never had a heater and yet it is a fully accessorized
Super Deluxe. I have nicknamed the car "Fernando Flathead".
Hope you enjoy the picture. The car is out and about these days, so you
might see it if you are at Ford V8 events in So. Calif. I also have a
stable mate for Fernando, it is a very nice original '47 Sedan Coupe, known as
"Freddie the Flathead from Fountain Valley". He is very strong
with a stock engine (but with Merc stroker crank). Freddie has made
several successful trips to the the mountains in Oakhurst CA via the Ridge
Route, Grape Vine and hwys. 99/41. He climbs hills and grades like a goat
(7% grades at 60 mph in 3rd gear!). Excellent cruiser with radials and
Columbia two speed overdrive. Happy motoring. (I like to keep 'em
original).
